A trim fitting short coat styled similarly to a blazer cut from a heavy Herdwick wool tweed dyed to a deep shade of indigo as part of Tenders ongoing Achilles Heel series. Features a nehru collar that sits with a natural gap at the opening, front patch pockets, and hand cast pewter buttons. The heavy structure of the tweed is inspired by the heft of classic moving blankets; it is woven from undyed grey Herdwick wool with random colour inclusions in the warp from older weaving stock. Durably finished with a full lining in Tenders signature cotton casement lining, originally used for curtain backing due to its structured drape.
Achilles Heel garments are dip dyed in indigo with one portion left out from the dye bath. For this coat the light spot is featured at the back of the collar.
As with all Tender garments, some fading and dye transfer should be expected with wearing and washing. Use caution when wearing with light coloured fabrics and use gentle washing methods when possible.
