Antique Victorian /Edwardian silky softoft black fur long stole wrap with matching muff. This antique muff is possibly a mourning accessory it is inky black. Padding to the interior for warmth and lined in black silk but would benefit from being replaced as the silk is shattering quite a lot.

Over all though, this is a wonderful set and very glamorous, luxurious..

The fur is extremely soft, probably rabbit, maybe mole, the fur is very soft and glossy. What I did note is some lighter patches along the edge in patches, minor rubbing of the fur, especially to one end of the muff obviously due to handling and use, see image.

The lining on the stole has been replaced at some point with a dark olive green fabric, possible stitched over the original silk.
